Previously, arranging transportation of sprayers, we have always raised the question: “How to put the sprayer so that the cargo height does not reach the values leading to extremely expensive delivery?“. The optimal solution was to remove the wheels.
However, since our fleet has been expanded with low-bed Tiefbett trailer, there is no difficulty in transportations of such kind. With the loading height of 0.35 m and a height of sprayer – 3.85 m the total height was just over four meters.
Transportation on Tiefbett platform not only provided the opportunity to quickly load / unload the sprayer without removing and putting the wheels again, but also allowed to reduce the shipping cost, as the need for accompanying by pilot cars was gone.
