APS fleet news: delivering increased volume of cargo by 16.5-metre semi-trailers

Transportation of large volumes of small-sized cargo in one road train is always in requisition. APS responds to the current market demands with a competitive transport offer – new Kässbohrer Maxima curtainsiders 16.5 m long.

The key advantages of the long-length semi-trailers are:

enlarged cargo space of 114 m³ -> by 12 % more compared to the megatrailer;
internal length 16.35 m -> up to 40 pallet units 2.83 m high;
K-fix multi-point load securing system -> robust chassis with 236 strapping points, each of which can withstand a load of up to 2.5 t, for flexible and reliable fixation of large cargoes of irregular shapes.

The internal dimensions of the APS long-length semi-trailer are 16.35 m x 2.48 m x 2.83 m. The side-wall curtains and sliding roof are complemented by moving pillars, which allow to load a 9-metre long cargo in case of side loading.
