Our cultural life has adjusted to the conditions of the pandemic and is actively running its course on the Internet. Nevertheless, online expositions cannot replace a direct contact with an artwork that carries its own unique energy, and therefore the demand for the delivery of exhibits has not lost its relevance. We are sharing the experience of how pieces of art travel in APS road trains.

Delivery of art objects from Switzerland to an exhibition in Russia.

APS solution
It is important to take into account the necessity to maintain temperature mode, reliability of packaging, specifics of the route when transporting works of art. This order included the delivery of 8 paintings wrapped in film and packed in 2 plywood boxes. Observing the temperature regime was not required.

The all-metal small-capacity truck was the optimal solution for the client. An additional advantage of small-capacity vehicles is its maneuverability, which allows to conveniently drive up to the doors of museums located in cities' historical centres.

An ATA Carnet – an international customs document used instead of a customs declaration – was issued for the registration of temporary import of the goods.

The European art has found its Russian audience with the transport support of APS.
