APS solution
The golden East European autumn owns its unique attributes: pre-dawn mist, fallen leaves, bright-orange pumpkins, and, surely, chestnut trees, ripe nuts of which are found at every turn. However, for residents of southern latitudes, chestnuts are, first of all, a popular street food. For such purposes, special edible varieties of this nut are used, which also grow in the warm climate of the forests of the Georgia’s Black Sea coast.

The rich harvest of Georgian chestnuts in 2020 has allowed to expand its shipment network beyond the Transcaucasian countries, specifically to Russia. One of such lots was transported by the APS team that delivered over 6 thousand cases with fresh nuts to Krasnodar region.

Chestnuts belong to the category of perishable goods. The transportation was performed in a refrigerated semi-trailer certified according to the FRC/ATP standards for carriage of foodstuffs. The set temperature of +2°С was maintained in continuous run.

Chestnuts have a remedial effect upon the whole body. Traditionally, at European markets, these nuts are found roasted, however, they also can be boiled and even grind into flour.
