Sustainable development: APS logistics with concern for the nature

The APS services are rendered with the awareness of importance to follow the ground rules of environmentally friendly behavior both in the office and on the road. For these purposes, drivers are trained in eco-driving — a driving technique that lets curb fuel costs, extend the life of the fleet, increase transportation safety, and decrease the risk of accidents and cargo loss. To analyze the performance adequately, the eco-driving specialists run the job in several digital systems.


Intracorporate eco-culture
The APS services are provided by personnel that are aware of the issues in nature conservation and involved into eco-cultural events.

• International movements. Traditionally, Earth Hour is celebrated, which calls for turning off the lights for one hour to draw attention to the problem of climate change and light pollution. Also, every September World Car Free Day campaign is announced to promote walking and cycling, a healthy lifestyle and environmental conservation.
• Eco-education by experts. A series of tutorial videos is promoted, where competent partners talk about how to organize an eco-friendly life at work and at home.
• Weekly news digest. A weekly newsletter on current environmental issues is supported to make information more accessible to the employees.
