Managing the transportation of exhibits is one of the most demanding logistics tasks, since the value of the cargo is expressed in its cultural significance rather than in its cost.

As art objects are a fragile cargo of non-typical shape and size, it was crucial to assess the reliability of the package, as well as to place the colli firmly in the semi-trailer. The exhibits were wrapped round with a bubble film, corrugated board and, afterwards, packed in plywood cases.

For the loading, the client chose a refrigerated truck since the observance of the appropriate temperature mode was the essential condition.

Special attention was paid to the check-up of the execution of the shipping documents and work-up of a safe route. Spots of secured parking lots were defined yet before the start.

Upon arrival to Russia, the cultural values were discharged in one of the galleries of the “capital of Ural” – Ekaterinburg.
