29 january 2016

Double project transportation to Turkmenistan Delivery of equipment for TAPI gas pipeline.

At the end of 2015, APS made its project transportation from Germany to Turkmenistan. One of the most complicated tasks was fulfilled exactly as planned, regardless of severe road conditions and a significant document turnover.

All APS departments paid great attention to this transportation, as the freight was meant for a major international project, particularly, building Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI), one of the biggest gas pipelines of the continent.

TAPI pipeline will allow delivering gas from Turkmenistan, which takes the 4th place in the world in gas reserves, to rapidly developing markets of South and Southeast Asia. The overall TAPI length will amount to 1814 km. 214 meters will be laid along Turkmenistan territory.

Equipment was transported in two stages: twice the fleet of 14 APS trucks simultaneously arrived at the loading and unloading places. Due to the harmonious work of all departments, necessary permits and approvals were obtained exactly on time; the freight was insured, during the whole trip each driver stayed in touch with the manager, operating team and the client, who could track the location and the route of freight movement 24/7.
