News in the APS fleet: we start transportations with 120 m³ road trains

The amount of vehicles in APS is growing: a batch of new 120 m³ road trains supplemented our diverse fleet. We would like to tell you about peculiarities of such type of vehicle.

Cargo capacity
Road train with two loading spaces allows to transport:

40% more than standard 82 m³ tilt semitrailer;
25% more than 92 m³ tilt semitrailer;
15% more than 100 m³ megatrailer.

Cargo classification
The majority of high-capacity goods can be transported with 120 m³ road trains:

There is an opportunity for the transportation of high cargoes (up to 3.07 m in the superstructure and up to 3.15 cm in the semitrailer) with permissions for oversized cargo.

Fast loading and unloading
Loading and unloading of goods are performed in 3 ways: from the back, top and side. Curtain-sided construction and lifting roof speed up the process of preparation and loading itself. Thanks to hydrolift roof the cargo can reach 3.03 m in height and 4.5 m in width.

Increased security
Safety of the cargo during the transportation is achieved by strengthened construction of truck body:

Aluminum back doors and front side;
Integral stiffening components in the roof;
Strengthened sides of a tent, 6 rows of side boards, aluminum bottom sides.

Body rigidity certified according to DIN EN 12642 Code XL.
Each road train is equipped with 16 belts, 2 hold-down beams, anti-slip mats and plastic corner protectors for secure fixation.
